Tech Talk: Q & A on Bitcoin and Digital Currency in the New Millenium

Details
Come join local "experts" for a roundtable discussion on Bitcoin, money .vs. currency, and currency trading in the new millenium.
What it's about: This topic was spurred by a recent IgniteBend talk on Bitcoin, which has led to a number of follow-on conversations around the office about the technical and social significance of "digital cash". Everyone involved has lots of questions so we thought we'd provide a forum for people to get together and compare notes.
What you'll learn: If demand warrants, each of the "experts" (yes, in quotes, that) will weigh in with a brief overview of what they know about digital currency/cash and why it's interesting. From there this will be an audience driven discussion. Our experts so far include:
- Robert Kieffer, software developer / resident BitCoin geek
- Scott Warner, entrepreneur
- Doug (?), currency trader
We'll be sending out links to some cheat sheets to help people get informed and hopefully drive discussion.
What you can contribute: Know someone who has interesting expertise and insight into the nature of digital cash? Send a note to Robert and we'll see what we can do. (Note: we can call remote people in via Google Hangouts if you have someone who might be particularly insightful.)
