If you are one of those techies that haunt the corridors of Silicon Valley companies across Palo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino and around, this group is for you.

The whole idea of the group is to help people network and at the same time get a break from work. Decompress after a busy weekday over drinks/dinner, get a breath of fresh air outdoors on the weekends, relax at a stage event or be stimulated by a lecture or museum visit.

This group is not focused on technical events but is more a social network for techies to connect and interact with each other. Having said that, there will be the occasional event of a technical or scientific bent, sure to appeal to the hardcores among the techies! The group is for anyone that is over 30 years old. You can be in your 30s, 40s or older and you are welcome. (And if you're a tad shy of 30, shhh... nobody's asking :)

Please take your 'yes' RSVPs very seriously! It takes only a little discipline to have a LOT of fun! Your organizer is committed to making everyone feel welcome at every event. Nobody can tell the future, but don't let mere laziness, forgetfulness or shyness turn you into a last-day drop-out or no-show! Be there for the event! Isn't that why you joined? :)
