OSTEG 2 - Building a Mobile Network for the Internet of Things

We will be looking at how to build a mobile network dedicated to the Internet of Things, i.e machine to machine devices.

Matt's company Telecoms Cloud has created such a network and have opened the mobile networks up to developers, giving them low-level API access to the Radio Access Network (RAN).

He's designed an IP network that is optimised for IoT devices, and will be talking about the design and how it works and how different it is compared to the regular networks.

We are also looking for others to do presentations on their subject matter, we accept most things as long as its interesting and wont bore people! ;), please get in touch.

Please register asap so we have an idea of numbers for drinks and food. It's typical beer and pizza!

You'll also have the chance to network with other individuals who are working on similar projects.

Afterwards, we will retreat to a local pub.
