Welcome! I am Karl.
Welcome to the Boca Raton Coffee & Conversation Meetup group! Our purpose is to bring together individuals who are passionate about having thoughtful and engaging conversations over a delicious cup of coffee (or at least what you can get at a Panera).
If you enjoy meeting new people and exploring new ideas, this group is for you. We welcome anyone who is open-minded, curious, and respectful of others' perspectives, regardless of their age, political party, background, or interests.
Our meetups are designed to be a welcoming space where members can share their experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. We believe that conversation has the power to bridge divides, foster understanding, and create meaningful connections between people.
So whether you're a longtime resident of Boca Raton or a newcomer to the area, we invite you to join us for some stimulating conversation. We look forward to meeting you! We hold events at venues in the Boca area as well as online, and generally, last around 2 hours.
Group Policy:
- We believe that conversation is most enriching when everyone has the opportunity to participate. As such, we encourage all members to engage in dialogue and avoid monopolizing the conversation, as well, feel free to pass on a subject you do not wish to talk about.
- To help cover the costs of running this group, we have implemented an annual fee of $10. We offer a 14-day trial period so you can experience the group before committing.
- After three "no-shows" (when you RSVP "yes" to events and do not show up), it is at the discretion of the organizer or co-organizers to remove you from the group.
- While we appreciate the talents and skills of our members, we ask that you refrain from soliciting other members for your business. If you believe that your business could benefit the group, please contact Karl directly to discuss. Thank you for understanding.
