There are quite a few kirtan groups and practitioners in the Netherlands. However, because the kirtan music scene isn't very organized, the amount of events and participants (audience) aren't as big as they can potentially be.
The Kirtan Movement aims at organizing the kirtan music scene in The Netherlands. This will be done by mapping out the agenda of coming kirtans in The Netherlands and giving members notice of the upcoming kirtan gatherings. This will be done through different media. Also will The Kirtan Movement look for potential new hosts for kirtan gatherings and new audiences for kirtan.
Anyone interested in kirtan, singing, music, Love of God, yoga, peace and love, mantra singing, dancing, making (spiritual) music collectively, higher consciousness, spirituality, a better world etc., should join

Kirtan-evening with Hansuman in Utrecht
Meditative singing in call-response style. Hansuman sings and plays the guitar and is joined by Bart on harmonium.
Indian Kirtan and Mantra's with melodies of Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, David Newman, Deca Premal, Jagjit Singh, Elf Spiritual Songbook and traditional Indian Kirtans. Hansuman acomponies himself on guitar, and is joined by BArt on Indian Harmonium. Read more
