The Meeting Pool is an all-new, never ventured before, pretty brilliant (and not at all cheesy) opportunity for you to meet other Christians in the Leamington area who are in their twenties and thirties. As well as having informal meetups at the pub or the cinema, there will be larger events every few months and they will look like this:
There will be worship. Ultimately the reason we want you all to get to know each other is because you know and love God. For that reason it would be silly not to spend some time with Him when we meet, and we’re hoping it will be great.
There will be food. But we’re not talking a sweaty-sat-in-the-sun-too-long selection of tuna pasta salads and sausage rolls topped off with a plastic cup of shloer here*...we’re talking tasty, attractive, informal food that could only be described as a ‘treat’. There may even be some fermented shloer.
As for what there will not be. We’re all adults, so there will be no forced participation, no icebreakers, and no ‘fun’ games to make you talk to each other. We hope that you will come along because you genuinely want to meet and get to know other Christians in the area, and that’s good enough for us. Also, we want to be clear: this is not a church, and we are not hoping it will become one. Neither is it a dating service (although we won’t get in the way of God’s plans). It is, very very simply, a place for you to meet other Christians and make friends with them.

*we genuinely didn’t want to offend anyone with our description of the generously and lovingly prepared buffets that we are all so fond of, we just wanted to make you chuckle.
