IT'S BACK... PARTY HIKE!! HIKE THE WEEKEND SERIES

Hey Everyone,

You've been asking me for it, so now you're gonna get it!

MY PARTY HIKES ARE A LIVELY, FUN, GATHERING OF HIKERS!

We'll watch the sun set while enjoying music, food and beverages (alcohol in reasonable quantities are good!) and get to talk, laugh and hang out before descending down the trail, back to the parking lot.

Starting off at the Greenmeadow trailhead, we’ll start the hike with a short walk through a beautiful oak grove on the Oak Creek Canyon trail. That will connect to the Los Robles trail and a steady climb to the top (approx. 500 ft.) with gorgeous views of the Conejo Valley. At the top, we’ll enjoy some snacks and beverages. Then we’ll descend to the Los Padres trail and meander through another beautiful oak grove. We’ll be doing some of this hike in the dusk/dark. Bring a headlamp or flash light if desired. It might get cool so wear layers!

THIS IS A POTLUCK HIKE AND WE'RE PACKING IN OUR GOODIES TO SHARE AT THE TOP.

Your favorite beverage is highly recommended and of course, bring what you love to eat and share! Please post what you’re bringing so we all know what to expect.

Doggies are allowed on this one if they're well behaved, watered and picked up after. Have the usual lugsoles, water, etc.

ELEV GAIN/LOSS: 500 ft.

DURATION: who cares? it's a party!

DO NOT GO TO THE TRAILHEAD AT THE END OF MOORPARK ROAD. WE'RE MEETING AT THE GREENMEADOW TRAILHEAD

DIRECTIONS: From the 101 freeway heading north into Thousand Oaks, exit at Moorpark Road and turn left, going under the freeway. Drive to the end of the road and turn right on Greenmeadow. Continue on going around the oak tree in the middle of the road and up to the parking lot. We'll meet in the parking lot at the Greenmeadow trailhead.
