BEACH AND SUNSET HIKE CHANGE OF LOCATION

Hey Everyone,

I'VE CHANGED THE BEACH LOCATION DUE TO THE FIRE

This is a bitchen hike! Great for beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker!

Let's do a walk/hike down the beach and watch the sunset over the sparkling blue Pacific! We'll start out at Westward Beach in Malibu and work our way over Point Dume, drop down the other side and take a nice stroll on the sand. Then we head back over the point to Westward beach and watch the sunset as enjoy our snacks and beverages.

DISTANCE: approx 3 miles

ELEV GAIN/LOSS: approx 200 ft.

DURATION: approx 3.5 hours

We will meet at the park and ride off of Rancho Road in Thousand Oaks for carpooling at 4:00 pm to share gas/parking expenses.

DIRECTIONS:

The park n ride is on the south side of the 101 freeway at Rancho Road and Haaland Drive. From the 101 freeway heading towards LOS ANGELES, exit Rancho Road and turn right. Turn into the parking lot on your right. We'll meet in the lot.
