WORK WEEK BLUES CHASER YAY!

Hey Everyone,
Let's shake off those work week blues with a fantastic hike!
We'll be hiking up three different hills in Thousand Oaks that offer sweeping views of the Conejo Valley!
The first part of the hike starts off with a short climb to the top of the hill where they shoot off the fireworks. Then we'll make our way through the botanic gardens as the second section. Lastly, we'll make our way to the top of Tarantula Hill, a paved road with a short, but good climb. ELEV GAIN/LOSS: approx 800 ft.
DISTANCE: 3.3 Miles
DURATION: 2.5 hours
This hike is suitable for fit beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker.
Bring the usual water, proper footwear, etc, etc.
DIRECTIONS: From the 101 fwy in Thousand Oaks, exit Moorpark Road and head north. Turn left on Gainsborough, then left on Henrix. Park entrance is at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix.
