WORK WEEK BLUES CHASER

Details
Hey Everyone,
Let's bust out a stress-reliever hike and shake off those work-week blues!
We haven't done this one in a long time, and it's a good one!
http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/d/d/8/600_15371736.jpeg Join us on this early evening hike on Mount Clef in Wildwood park. We'll start with a short jaunt on the Mesa trail as it connects to the Santa Rosa trail, which offers a strong ascent up Mount Clef. Continuing on the eastern side of the mountain as the trail hugs just below the ridgeline, we'll be overlooking the Santa Rosa valley and beyond. This will connect us to the Lower Butte trail as it dips down over the Conejo and circles us back to where we started.
Some of this hike will be in the dusk/dark. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and picked up after.
DISTANCE: approx. 5.5 miles
ELEV. GAIN/LOSS: approx. 900 ft.
TERRAIN: varying wide and single track packed earth
DURATIONS: approx. 2 hours
This hike is suitable for fit beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker.
DIRECTIONS: Heading north (towards Ventura) on the 101 fwy in Thousand Oaks, exit Lynn Rd. and turn right. Go approx. 1 mile to Ave. De Los Arboles and turn left. Drive to the end of the road, the parking lot/trailhead will be on your left.
