TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY HIKE YAY!!

Hey Everyone,

It's the 2 year anniversary of The Moderate Hikers! WOW, I can't believe you all put up with me for this long...

We'll be hiking up to Lasky Mesa to celebrate. This is a moderate hike through the rolling hills of Ahmanson Ranch. The views at the top are expansive, with 360 degrees of pure gorgeousness! We'll be watching the sunset and the stars come out while enjoying our food and beverages that we'll be packing in. Bring your favorites!

I'm requesting donations from members to help cover costs for this year's fees. It's something I've never done before but turns out to be necessary this year so I'll be putting out a donation "jar". I would really appreciate your support of this group!

This hike is for all levels.

DISTANCE: 5.5 miles r/t

DURATION: We'll be up there for an indefinite amount of time

ELEV. GAIN/LOSS: approx. 400 ft (I think)

DIRECTIONS: From the 101 freeway near Calabasas, take the Las Virgenes Road exit and go north about 2 miles to where Las Virgenes dead ends at the trail head to Amhanson Ranch.
