Hey Everyone,

I CAN'T DO TONIGHT'S HIKE DUE TO WORK CONSTRAINTS. THERE ARE MAPS AT THE TRAILHEAD KIOSK IF YOU STILL WANT TO DO THE HIKE YOURSELVES. I'M REALLY SORRY FOR THE LAST MINUTE CHANGE! SEE YOU ON THE NEXT ONE...

Let's climb a giant lizard and seek out the indians on this scenic hike in Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks. We'll take the Mesa trail out to Lizard Rock which overlooks Hill Canyon and beyond, then drop down into Wildwood Canyon to the waterfall. We'll make our way back up to the trailhead by way of the Indian Spring Trail. This is a counter clockwise loop hike.

DISTANCE: approx. 4 miles

ELEV. GAIN/LOSS: approx. 500 ft.

DURATION: 2 hours

TRAIL: varying wide trail and single track packed earth

This hike is suitable for fit beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker. Dogs are allowed on this one as long as they're well behaved and picked up after.

DIRECTIONS:

From the 101 freeway in Thousand Oaks, heading north towards Ventura, exit Lynn Road and turn right. Drive approx. 2 miles to Ave. De Los Arboles and turn left. Drive to the end of the road and the parking lot is on your left. Meet at the kiosk at the trailhead.

Anyone attending this hike is bound by my Terms and Conditions outlined in my DISCLAIMER on the Pages Tab. Read it, live it, love it.

Hey Everyone, I can't lead this hike tonight (see above description change) but I urge you all to do the hike with each other anyway. There are park maps at the trailhead kiosk.

Hey Everyone, the map above only shows you the intersection of Lynn Rd and Ave De Los Arboles. You must head west on Ave Arboles and drive to the end of the road where the entrance to the park is.
