360º VIEWS ON LASKY MESA

Hey Everyone,

Let's take a hike with spectacular views of rolling hills and expansive blue skies in the Ahmanson Ranch open space preserve. We'll be doing an out and back hike on wide trails up to Lasky Mesa.

After the hike, let's grab a bite to eat at Le Pain Quotidien in the Calabasas Commons where we can have a great brunch and stare at all the wealth.

This hike is suitable for beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker. As usual, bring plenty of water, wear proper hiking shoes, hat, sunglasses, etc.

DISTANCE: 4 miles

ELEV. GAIN/LOSS: approx 500 ft.

DURATION: approx. 2 hours not including brunch

TRAIL: wide trail with a short, single track section

AS ALWAYS, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND DON'T RELY SOLELY ON THE MAP LINK AS IT'S NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE AND IS USED AS A POINT OF REFERENCE.

DIRECTIONS: From Thousand Oaks heading south on the 101 towards Los Angeles, exit Las Virgines, go over the freeway and drive approx. 1 mile to the end of the road where the trailhead is. There is plenty of street parking.
