Meet fellow Raw Foodists near you! Come to a local Raw Treasure Meetup to have fun, share raw food, and discuss raw vegan diet and health issues. Anyone interested in the raw/live food diet and lifestyle is welcome!

Watch for Meetup announcements, and, if you're a member, feel free to set them up yourself.  The Meetup system is set to notify members of your event as soon as three members RSVP "yes".  Our site is interactive in other ways, too:  we share recipes, talk to each other about raw food goals, concerns, and joys, and are in the process of setting up support friendly systems for raw food newbies.  

We lean toward peer education, but also sponsor presenters -- so let us know if you want to make a raw-food related presentation to interested members of our group.  Our interests run the gamut from simple, raw food issues from a scientific basis of health and well-being, all the way into raw food as a means of enhancing personal spirituality and growth.  We have learners (all of us) and teachers (all of us) and are just looking for interesting and fun ways to share raw food with each other.

Two more things:  There is a Forum in the discussion section of this site (called:  RETAIL) which is a place for businesses and individuals to list raw food products, services, classes, and pay-to-go events which may benefit our members to know about.  Also, we are actively pursuing perks for our members (discounts, coupons, samples, etc) and those will begin appearing in the left column of this page under the heading "Membership Perks".  We are opening these venues for one reason only, the benefit of our members.  If any listings become pushy or uncomfortable for our members, or if any provider exceeds the two venues offered (for example: by emailing offers directly to our members) those providers will be removed from the group.
