About us
Hello!
This group is a Social group of adults in Atlanta ages 35 and up that want to get out of the house, try new things and new places, and have a lot of fun while meeting other great people. This group welcomes everyone looking to expand their social and professional circles. We will hold different types of social events throughout the month designed to introduce you to friends in your age range.
Many folks just join a ton of meetup groups and actually never attend. Many don't attend due to fear of the unknown, anxiety, don't like showing up alone in a room full of new people. We've all been there. Come to the New Member Meet & Greets, "No Cliques"
The hardest part is getting in your car to go. I've had people tell me they stay in their cars for 10 minutes anxious to get out and walk into the meetup. But once they do, the realize it's not a big deal and everyone is there for the same reason - to make new friends. It's like anything else, if you don't take the first step, you might just miss out on the journey.
So if you are ready to attend your first Meetup - make this moment the first moment to get out and make new friends. In over 13 years, I have seen friendships, marriages and new jobs all stem from meetup. It's a great social tool - but only if you use it!
Come join the fun!
