Announcing a new Meetup for 35UP!!

What: Sunday skate followed by Ale! - March 7

When: Sunday, March 7,[masked]:30 PM

The Cooler (Alpharetta Family Skate Center)
10800 Davis Dr
Alpharetta, GA 30005

Let's do something different...
Come get your skate on! Ice skating in Georgia is surprisingly popular with 4 indoor ice facilities and a 5th one being built. Atlanta also has the oldest Adult Amateur Hockey League - huh? I guess we can thank all the migrating northerners biggrin

The Cooler - also known as the Alpharetta Family Skate Center houses 2 ice rinks and a roller rink. They have public ice skate on Sunday from 2-5pm for $8.00 and if you need to rent skates they are an additional $3.00. So join us for some fun gliding around on the ice - show us your skills, or hold on to the wall - it's fun either way! (there are also refreshments available at the rink)

After we work up a sweat on the ice (yes that is actually possible), we'll head down to Miller's Ale House for some great food and refreshments. They always have $5.00 pitchers of beer, other drink specials, and their food is great - lots of variety and value.
Miller's Ale House: This successful casual-dining restaurant chain attracts customers from all walks of life by offering great food and drinks at an incredible value. Millers 10750 Davis Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30004

Now, did you notice I mentioned hockey? Many know that I play co-ed Rec hockey, Rec league means you have some great players and then you have not so great players like me, it's a great mix of abilities. Anyway, I have a game at 9:00 at the Cooler, so if you're still wide awake and want to continue the fun from Miller's you can head back up to the Cooler and watch a bunch of adults hit a puck around - it's free to watch!
