Why are you interested in Node.js?

Node.js represents, to me, the future of web application development. Javascript is not going anywhere, and the functionalities I see in the frameworks being built on Node and astounding. Coding servers at the level that Node allows is exciting and exhilarating due to the vistas of possibility that it opens up.

What are your favourite Node packages?

So far, I am new to Node. I have been learning the rudiments of it for about a month now. However, so far my favorite functionalities revolve around sockets.

What kind of topics would you like covered in the meetups?

Just about anything i can get my hands on at this point!

I just finished up at Bitmaker Labs, and have been heavily immersed in Node ever since. I am taken by the idea of full stack javascript development. I am an artist, philosopher and coder who is interested in the bleeding edge of technology.
