Options Primer, part 1

.Roundtable member, Gordon, Will present the first of a three part series on options. This meeting will cover a primer discussing exactly what an option is, what it consists of, how people make money with them and the advantages and disadvantages of them. Within all of that, he will present a case example of buying a CALL and how it would hopefully become profitable for the investor.

ABOUT OUR WEEKLY MEETINGS

We meet on the FIRST and THIRD Wednesdays to discuss market conditions, analyze indexes, ETF's, stocks, options, futures, bonds, FOREX, and the emerging markets. We are an active group of traders and investors who enjoy sharing our experience with one another. A topic may be designated from time to time, with guest speakers on various occasions.

MEETING LOCATION
We meet at Denny’s Restaurant, located on the south side of Broadway just east of Wilmot. Denny’s has adequate parking and is just after the La Quinta Inn. We will be in the private meeting room, which features comfortable air conditioning and WiFi access. We also enjoy a diverse menu; please remember to tip your server. Denny's does not charge us for the use of the room, but does ask that each of us order dinner, snacks, or at least a beverage.
