PencilBlue is the first full stack, online publishing platform for Node.js. It comes with MongoDB and Redis out of the box, but PencilBlue abstracts its data providers and services, making it's possible to implement the abstraction layer for the database of your choosing. PencilBlue is built upon an MVC architecture and utilizes a plugin system that allows for complete override of the core platform.
