North Carolina is home to the largest brook trout population in the southeastern United States. Populations are found in 32 counties of western North Carolina, however, they are now found in less than 80% of their historic range.

Join us in what should be another spectacular program, led by Jake Rash (NCWRC Biologist). Jake has been a valuable source of information to many club members and held one of our largest meetings ever, back in February, when he explained the benefits of our delayed harvest program. We ask for you to join us again, in what is shaping up to be another large gathering, while Jake leads us through his work, on one of North Carolinas most prized treasures, the native Appalachian Brook Trout!

Monthly meetings feature informative and entertaining speakers, covering a variety of topics. See the Discussion Board for info about upcoming speakers. We also discuss club business and upcoming events, and usually have a raffle for some nifty prizes.
