I will be facilitating constellation evenings every other Thursday in Raleigh, and you are invited to participate. Please let me know if you are interested in yours being one of them. We meet at Celestine Sanctuary at 300 W Hargett St Suite 56 in Raleigh.

You can start arriving at 7:15, and we will start by 7:30. We do one constellation that generally lasts 60-90 min. Please try to stay the whole time.

This event runs $10-15 donation for participants, with a larger fee for the one whom the constellation is for.

This is not a lecture, it is experiential and has a direct impact on your relationship to your Family System, and what it means to be human.

What exactly is this?

Family Constellations are a way of working with the familial, relational patterns we have inherited from our family. Just like your parents give you a genetic inheritance, so too do they give you an emotional inheritance. These patterns are both 'ours' (now that we live them in our lives) and also 'not ours' (since they did no originate with us).

Since these patterns did not originate with us in the way that some other patterns in our life did, they are best worked with in a different way.

This is where constellation work comes in. I'll explain how it works in metaphor. Imagine a sheet of paper with magnets below it. Though we can't see the magnets lines on the sheet, we know they are there. Now imagine putting iron filings on that same sheet. You can see the lines, and work with them if you choose to.

In constellation work, a group of people are the iron filings, and the magnetic lines are the family devotional patterns.

Who is this work for?

• Anyone who has parents.

People can come and actively participate, or sit and silently witness. Both are totally welcome and valuable.

Remember, your participation is not only a great service to another, which it is, but it is also a great service to yourself. Not only the client gets change from these experiences; participants do too. The field always wants to get 'the most bang for the buck,' and you are always called into a role where the patterns mesh with yours in such a way that you will also benefit from participation.

More about Constellations

Some of our experience isn't even our own. Have you ever noticed any recurring patterns in your life that really make no sense? That don't really seem to have any logical cause you can trace? Out of deep and unconscious love for the family systems into which we are born we often inherit patterns that aren't our own. We call these systemic entanglements.

Human beings eagerly damage themselves in an unworkable effort to help, heal, and say “I love you” to others of their kind. As far as we know, no other creatures on this planet are this crazy. If you want to see where someone loves the most, look to see where they are the most in pain. We work to find resolutions that restore love & dignity to all members of a family system.
