Actually, Jason it was your email i used to sign up/thx!

thx guys, so much for the time hanging out yesterday. i immediately felt relief to socialize with fellow developers. coding is 100% me here amidst ever-present Help Desk concerns.

btw, trying to configure Zen Framework on Ubuntu 8.04 [hey Bryan can 8.04 be upgraded to 10 or latest 11? info on the web seems to say yes and no] - i'm supposed to set the include path command - where does it go, in the script where i'm using it [eg, .php file where my code is], or somewhere like the etc/bash.hashrc file??

Jason, man i tried removing the image from my droid app, adding a clickable button with background. FINALLY showed up in the R.java class file but then somehow the display got messed up. undid all changes, still looked bad. i cleaned the project, which kept deleting the R.java generated file. recreated it...by that time - what.a.mess.

then tried a "safe/backup" version of the app into the SDK, kept saying the project already existed... what bunch o' crap. so, should i try creating another workspace location and starting over? or just start handcoding the whole thing from scratch? [using previous code which is preserved]. trying to integrate an old project back into the workspace is problemmatic.

hey it's an honor to be around the genuine articles! showed my wife the beer app/her enthusiasm is not as thirsty as mine.

Garrison the Don't Be Afraid... looks OK - there's a shocking scene in the trailer for sure!
Darkness Falls - i really enjoyed that one:).

Hey everyone,

I just saw that CodeWorks 2011 is going to be coming to Raleigh on Dec. 9th.  It's a pretty cool little one-day conference, and if you sign up before tomorrow you get 40% off (which makes the ticket only $60).  It will be a great way to interact with the PHP community and learn a little something as you go.
