We're having our first ever summer BunFest on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 1-4pm at AniMall Pet Adoption and Outreach Center.

Our theme for this event is “Let’s Get Physical” and we will be focusing our education efforts on creative and fun ways to keep bunnies fit and healthy. Bring your rabbit(s) and try our homemade bunny agility course (one at a time)! Learn to make your own bunny agility obstacles!

Adoptable rabbits from Dance with the Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, APS of Durham, the SPCA of Wake County, and the Wake County Animal Center will be there. Avian and Exotic Animal Care will be there with adoptable rabbits and to answer your rabbit health questions.

Bunny speed dating will also be available for anyone who is interested in finding a friend for their current rabbit.

There will be lots of fun toys for sale, including Busy Benches and Busy Mats!

Volunteers will be needed to help with:

Set-up from 12:15pm-1pm; Clean up from 4pm-4:45pm; Bunny agility - help keep an eye on the course, clean up any accidents, and reset obstacles as buns rearrange them; Speed dating; and Toy sales.

If you would like to help with any of these jobs, please let us know in your RSVP.

We will keep everyone posted of any additional plans as this event comes together. We are excited about a summer event, and we hope to see you there!
