Where are you from and how did you end up in the Triangle Area?

My dad was in the Air Force until I was in college, so I didn't grow up in one place. My entire family is in Laurinburg, NC and my parents and I moved there when I was 17. I've lived in Raleigh since I got married, nearly 2 years ago.

How did you hear about Triangle Red Sox Nation?

One of my friends told me about it!

How did you become a Red Sox fan?

While my husband and I were dating, I didn't have a team that I supported. He told me the history of the Red Sox and took me to Boston for a game at Fenway and I was hooked.

Who is your favorite all time Sox player?

Anyone but Eric Gagne! Thank goodness we don't have him anymore.

Hello TRSN! I'm Amie. I love watching baseball, playing softball and having fun with friends, my husband and our puppy Lily.

What Amie is saying about this Meetup Group

It's nice to meet folks that you know you have at least 1 thing in common with. Since Raleigh is so much bigger than where I moved from, I feel that there isn't a true sense of community so it's more difficult to meet people and make friends. The Triangle Red Sox Nation is a great way to make new friends.
