This group is designed for women in the Triangle area who are interested in learning and sharing more about self defense.

The FBI estimates that 1 out of 3 women in the United States will be the victim of an assault at some point in their lives. That's a scary statistic! There are only two persons guaranteed to be at the scene of an assault: the assailant and the woman he is attacking. It is time to give yourself the tools you need to protect yourself should the situation arise!

This group was created by the BUSHIDO WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE Program. We wanted to create a group where we could continue to share self defense and safety awareness events with women in the Triangle area. Even more, we want to be able to help women find other great programs being offered throughout North Carolina!

So if you are interested in learning basic self defense principles...

Stay involved with the group by participating in the message board forums, asking questions and sharing self defense events in your area. Events posted with this group will not necessarily be those offered by Bushido Womens Self Defense - we try to find a wide array of programs so that you can find an event that is most accessible with your schedule!
