Bats, Caves, and Why Bats Need Cavers

Because Bats are interesting and during Halloween Bats might be misunderstood. Ken Walsh will be giving a presentation on bats.

About Ken:

Ken Walsh started exploring caves thirty years ago and was a founder of the Triangle Troglodytes, the 24-year-old local chapter of the National Speleological Society. He is a Fellow of the Society and spends his free time surveying, mapping, and photographing caves. He even won an honorable mention last summer for a photo taken in a nearby Virginia cave.

We have a new location this time and will probably be going out for food afterwards.

Awwwwwwww, crap. This is tonight? I completely fail at the getting-back-involved-with-the-local-atheist/skeptic-movements thing. I missed the party this past weekend, because of something that shifted times on me, too. This was just a flake-out, though.

Damn, I'll see about making the next one. Have to set myself a 24-hour reminder or something.
