Vegan. I don't like the way animals are treated on factory farms and when I drive down the road and see those beautiful cows with their big, brown eyes, it sickens me now to think of destroying them for food. I haven't eaten beef for many years now. There are other good, nourishing, tasty foods to eat. There is also the problem that farm animals create, or the farmers create, regarding pollution. Being vegan or vegetarian just makes more sense.
Until about two months ago, I still ate eggs, buying supposedly from cage-free, drug-free chickens. But, why even eat those? I have the palate of a two-year old, so oatmeal with raisins and soymilk for breakfast is just fine with me. PBJs for lunch!
It will be nice to simply meet people with similar ideas regarding food and all that is attached to that topic. I want to meet people like me. People who care.
I've done a lot of things, cashier, waitress, manager, software developer, college professor and I like to meet people from all walks of life. I'm interested in a lot of things and like to read and talk to people.
