Triangle Vegan Action (TVA) is a grassroots abolitionist organization.
We promote veganism as the way for humans to respect other animals. Veganism stands against speciesist oppression and for nonhuman animal liberation. We advocate rights, equality, and justice for all sentient beings.
TVA holds regular meetings and events in the Triangle region of NC. We serve our community through the following:
- Providing solidarity for local vegans.
- Distributing literature advocating veganism and animal rights.
- Organizing local activists for leafleting, protests, and marches.
- Hosting speakers and movie screenings about veganism and animal rights.
- Educating and supporting new and transitioning vegans.
We are comprised of vegans and aspiring vegans. We encourage anyone open to veganism to join us at one of our group meetings to learn more.
Visit http://www.rightsforanimals.org/ for information on animal rights.
If you have any questions, please email us at info[at]triangleveganaction.org.
This TVA meeting we'll have an autumn-themed potluck, as it's good to eat seasonal foods. Come out and join us!
If you're willing and able, please bring a vegan (animal-free) dish to share with others. Be sure to label it with the ingredients. Feel free to bring the recipe, too, so we can all learn how to make it. Don't worry if you are unable/unwilling to bring something for whatever reason. Read more
