The Tennessee Equality Project Tri-Cities Committee is the Northeast Tennessee division of the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP), a 501c4 organization dedicated to advancing the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. Founded in 2004, TEP lobbies the Tennessee General Assembly on issues important to the State's GLBT community. We also work with local governments around the State to advance equality.
We have additional committees in Shelby County, Rutherford County, Hamilton/Bradley Counties, Franklin County, and in Knox County.

I also wanted to give everyone the info for another local group, PFLAG is one of our strongest local allies and supports us so we should support them. They have a great list of local businesses that we should all visit as they have been recognized as gay friendly.
Its content is only available to members.
