A brick workout is a any workout that includes more than one of the three triathlon legs in succession, but generally refers to a bike/run workout.

First, we jump on the bikes and head north for an "out-and-back" ride of around 30 miles (view route (http://www.mapmyfitness.com/routes/view/62783292/)). Average speed will be between 15-20 mph. Then we put away the bikes and go for a breathtaking 5.5 mile run along the intracoastal. (view route (http://www.mapmyfitness.com/routes/view/20244230)). Average pace will be between 10-13 '/mile.

There are endless options for the brick. The distances listed are just suggestions. Since both routes are "out and back", you can turn around at any point, biking or running any distance you like. Come for one or both legs of the workout.

Parking is metered so bring some coins. It costs $1.50 an hour. We'll need about 3.5 hours for the training. If you forget change, you can probably park across the street at the shopping center even though we're not supposed to. I've done it twice without issue.

Hope to see you there!
