Welcome to the Tucson- Institute for the Shamanic Arts Meetup group. There are circles that are perfect for those who are beginning their shamanic experience, as well as circles offered for people who have participated in other circles and are ready to go deeper. Please see the calendar for all circles offered.
The practices and explorations of people in this group are done for the highest good for the individual and the collective.

The Beauty of "SPIRIT GUIDED DONATION"-
ISA offers many of its group activities for what it calls "Spirit Guided Donation". We understand that this donation system makes some people uncomfortable. "I don't know how much to offer!" people often say. While it makes some nervous, it has worked well for many years.
Fundamentally, SGD means that you ask within about how much you should donate each visit, and you donate that amount. Please consider the sacredness of this practice, offered on the Honor System. This is a beautiful way to allow all people to participate when they need to. It also takes into account the ebb and flow of money in people's lives. SGD does not mean you can simply put a dollar in the basket. It asks more of your thought process. It was made clear years ago that this is the method ISA should use with regards to money offerings, so if you want to participate, yet you don't know what to offer, please consider these guidelines to help you know what to do...
- Consider the length of time invested together- For a 1-3 hour workshop or circle, $5-$20 is a common amount donated. Also since time is not always money, consider what you receive from the session with the facilitator as you ask within. SGDs of a non-monetary nature should be considered carefully. Please consult the facilitator to see if she/he needs what you want to donate in-kind. Your donations are deeply appreciated and needed for this non-profit to continue.
'RSVP'- Low Commitment/High Honor-
The opportunity to RSVP to an event with the click of a mouse is so simple and convenient, yet please understand that the facilitator is a person who has cleared her/his schedule to drive to the Healing Cave to host the circle for which you RSVPed. It is not only frustrating when people RSVP and don't show up, it is disheartening as well. So, please honor these wonderful people by assuming that when you RSVP, you are attending the circle/workshop. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR RSVP, EVERY TIME.
