Across The Board (weekly radio show)

Sadly, you would have to take a class at KFAI before you can spin on air. I, never DJ'ed before, had to take the 8 week course. If you have been an on air DJ before, you would only have to take the 4 week course. I don't make the rules, I just follow them.

KFAI is in the middle of the spring pledge drive. We are a community radio station and we count on the support of the listeners. The money raised during our pledge drive keeps the station running. All programmers (myself included) are volunteers,we do this for the love of music. To show your support for KFAI & Across The Board, you can pledge by clicking here, it's quick & painless. Or you can call 612-375-9030 to pledge your support. Not asking for alot, every little bit helps. I got 1 pledge for $60 from Australia that I'm very happy for, but I would love to get a few more pledges that are closer to home.

Across The Board is one of only 2 radio shows in the twin cities that plays goth & industrial, but ATB is your only source for Collectors Corner, movie trailers, & soundtracks. And don't forget the BOWIE!!! ATB is also the only show that does WAY too much Bowie (but I know you love it!!).

Here is the link to the ATB page on the KFAI site for the audiostream. This week, ATB's greatest hits!! Some of the best songs I've played since ATB hit the airwaves.

If you have been an on air DJ before, you would only have to take the 4 week course.

I don't suppose a pirate station would be the sort of on-air experience they're thinking of... : /
Eight weeks, then.
