Day bus to Copper/Vail

Feb 13, 2013 update: We are no longer meeting the bus at Office Liquidators, the new meeting place is the RTD Federal Center Station, 11,601 West 2nd Place, Lakewood, CO. (1 block east of Union, 4 blocks south of 6th Ave). We will meet the Arrow Stage Lines bus at the South East corner of the RTD lot (North West corner of Routt and 2nd). Join us for a truly fun experience with your UTC friends & guests. The day buses are a great way to get up to the ski areas and socialize with other members and guests. The Ski bus is a luxury motor coach that can accommodate up to 50 people. The bus has a bathroom, great scenic views, plenty of leg room, and usually can drop us off right by the ski lifts. Bagels, muffins, fruit and juice are provided for the morning trip up. Wine, beer, pop, snacks, and music are provided for the party on the ride home! The bus will drop off at Copper at approximately 8:30 am and then continue onward and arrive in Vail at 9:15 am. On the ride home the ski bus will leave Vail at 4:15 pm, pick up at Copper at 5:00 pm and arrive back in Denver at 7:00 pm, weather and traffic permitting. No hassles from driving, parking, or having to make bathroom stops. (The bus has a bathroom). (Lift tickets not included)

All buses depart at 7:00 am. Plan on arriving at the meeting place at least 30 minutes prior to departure! If you sign up for this meetup you are not confirmed for the trip until you pay. Some people pay for the trip without an RSVP on this site so the low number of RSVPs can be deceiving. You really need to pay for the bus at least 10 days in advance or you run the risk of the bus being sold out and not being on the final guest list. We have a hard cap of 50 seats on the day buses. The cost for all of the day ski buses is $34.00 for Up The Creek Club Members; $39.00 for Non-Members (includes a $3 tip for bus driver (https://www.meetup.com/upthecreek-org/events/82618252/)). The easiest way to pay for the day bus is to go to http://www.upthecreek.org/recreational-seasonal-winter-schedule.htm and scroll down until you see the payment section for the day bus. Select the correct day bus date and member or non-member price, (The member price is just for dues paying "Club Members" if you are just a part of this meetup group then you have to pay the non-member price) from the drop down menu, hit "Add to cart" then follow the instructions to pay online.
