Summer is here with it's long and hot days: a perfect setup for the 6th Annual Luau complete with roast pig! Once again it will be at the scenic Boulder Reservoir and again this year we will have 2 ski boats operating for your water-skiing pleasure. There will be the usual volleyball, paddle boats, sun-bathing and of course lots of beer, soft drinks and wine. The Luau will all take place on Sun. July 15. We have Sunset Beach reserved from sunrise to sunset so those who want to water ski can arrive early. Others can arrive around noon and we will have munchies and beverages until feast time when the pig arrives which will be around 3:30pm. We will continue with all this food, fun and frivolity along with DJ Curtis and dancing until sunset. So wear your best beach attire and bring your Luau Party attitude! The cost for all this full day of fun, food and frivolity is just $25 for Up The Creek Club members and $30 for meetup members and guests. The wind was the only issue at this party. The food was great, and everyone had a great time out on the water, playing Volleyball, or dancing! It was real windy for about an hour which was a bit of a bummer but at least it didn't rain!

It was a very good time- the clouds rolled in around 2:00 with very heavy winds and white caps, however it blew out again just in time for use to enjoy roast pig and chicken. Volleyball, hawaiian limbo, costume and speedo contests as well as great music and of course out wonderful UTC members... Great time!

I had a couple of people who don’t eat pork ask me about the food for the Luau. The answer is that there will be roast chicken available for people who don’t eat pork, and we will have lots of snacks and sides for everyone.
