UX OC BBQ

Hey all -

To kick off the UX OC group, I thought it would be fun to do a get-to-know you BBQ at my new place in Newport Beach. This way we can all get to know each other and see who is already in the meetup group and see what resources we already have. We may already have some speakers, venues, and experts in the group!

FOOD

Food provided. Please RSVP so I can get an accurate headcount for food. I'll have basics like salad, burgers, smores, and soda, but you are welcome to bring other stuff... There is a market and a 7-11 across the street. I start heating up the grill at 5:30. Pool area closes at 10pm.

POOL

Please feel free to bring a swimsuit (and a towel!!!) and use the pool! There is a nicely done outdoor shower area and restrooms for you to use to change and clean up before heading home. Please don't bring any glass or pets. Basic pool rules.

FINDING US

You can find us on the Coronado North side pool veranda (side closest to Irvine Ave), which is reserved exclusively for our group. It has a lounge, fire pit, BBQs, TVs and tables, so we will be pretty comfortable! (There are two pools... You want the north side one with all the cabanas and spas. IMPORTANT!!! Entry and Parking...

For parking, there are a few spots in front of the leasing office, and then it is around the outside of the building.

Parking can be limited. It will be easiest to park and get in if you get there before 6:30. The leasing office is open until 7 and you can enter through there and go straight to the pool area. After 7 you will need to call me on my cell (310) 430-0049 and I will send someone to open the side gate for you. There's no buzzer/intercom system.
