About the Post Show Discussion:
Silver Summit Theatre Company will be hosting a post-show discussion with the actors. Utah Theater Lover members are invited to attend. In short, the show will end and the audience members who wish to stay will move towards the stage. From there, the actors and sometimes those involved in the production will come back on stage and answer any questions we have. There will likely be an announcement with details so pay attention.
When you RSVP please indicate how many people will be joining us for the post-show discussion.
About Dinner:
Please feel free to join us for dinner if you are seeing the show on a different night or just want to hang out with the cool kids. :)
We like to highlight and support local restaurants. Any suggestions?
We will be meeting around 5:30 (following the show and discussion). The reservation will be under the name of Utah Theater Lovers (or Megan Pedersen).

How do we get tickets?
You must buy tickets on your own. An RSVP with Utah Theater Lovers does not guarantee a seat to the production. See above for details on purchasing your tickets.
Will we be sitting together?
Seating is General Admission. Meet there 30 minutes early (2:00) to join with other Utah Theater Lovers and sit together.
Where will we be meeting?
We will be meeting in the lobby prior to the show at 2:00. Megan (yours truly) will update this post as the time gets closer as to what she will be wearing. Members of Utah Theater Lovers can buy a drama mask pin for $2 from Megan as a way to identify each other. Please let her know if you are interested and don’t forget to wear your pins if you already have one.
After the show, the post show discussion will be in the theater.
Immediately after the discussion, we will head to dinner - reservations under Utah Theater Lovers (or Megan Pedersen). Location TBD.
I’d like to invite a group to attend a different show with me.
Right now we are committing to seeing one show per month (sometimes two but rarely). However, if you are attending another show and would like to get a group together we encourage you to suggest an event.
Under the title of our page, there is an option to Suggest A New Meetup. If you click on this, you can suggest a show for others to see. Please make sure you adhere to two guidelines
- Title the event “Member Suggested Event: (name of show)”
- Do not contact the theater as a member of Utah Theater Lovers. We are very strategic in the theaters and shows we see and in order to offer special perks to our members, we need to maintain those relationships on this end.
Otherwise, we absolutely encourage all of you to meetup together and continue to explore and experience the great theater we have in this state!
