uxWaterloo welcomes anyone with an interest in user experience (UX) design, whether you're a seasoned veteran or hoping to get your career started. We meet once a month and engage in a range of activities such as workshops, presentations, or informal meetups over food & drink.

We're affiliated with both Communitech as a Peer2Peer group, and with the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) as a local group.
Communitech’s Peer2Peer Network helps professionals in the Waterloo Region tech industry share challenges and lessons-learned in a friendly, informal environment. Peer2Peer groups provide an opportunity for individuals in similar roles, specialities or functions to exchange advice and best-practices information. Communitech is a not-for-profit organization aimed at helping tech companies start, grow & succeed.
IxDA is a non-profit professional organization whose focus is promoting both the field of interaction design and the interests of an international community of practitioners, managers, educators, and students of interaction design. Our affiliation with IxDA plugs us into a valuable network of peers and experts.
