JFK 50th Anniversary and Commemoration

On the day of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, citizens will be invited to participate with a panel discussion on what that day (50 years ago) meant to our nation and world.

To many what happened in Dallas in 1963 changed everything. In a description for the book by James Douglass, "JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters," it describes that at 'the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace. But to the military and intelligence agencies in the United States, who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy’s change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence. Once these dark "Unspeakable" forces recognized that Kennedy’s interests were in direct opposition to their own, they tagged him as a dangerous traitor, plotted his assassination, and orchestrated the subsequent cover-up.'

What are your thoughts on this anniversary. Would you care to consider preparing a statement to make about what the impact has been from your perspective?

The US never had a perfect leader, but John F. Kennedy changed and grew to cherish what was good in humankind. Kennedy could not be controlled, so he was murdered, and our nation had fallen into a dark time resembling something out of George Orwell's novel, 1984 - "During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." The public is invited to prepare and make their statement regarding this important world issue as a community.

The event on the anniversary at GCTV was truly special, as well. And it was recorded. This community event had great presentations, music, video clips, audience participation, and a moment of silence. I look forward to editing and finish the production of it for broadcasting and posting on youtube.

Please mark this date on your calendar, and note the event on the night before at the Greenfield Garden Cinema.. This is to help us reclaim our community and nation in honoring truth over falsehood and war-capitalism-slavery. If there was ever a time to make this meetup happen in a big way, please do what you can.. it only works if we work together.. or else the system suppresses critical thinking and we become like sheeple.
Peace and evolution.. now.. more than ever..
