Honestly, I can't tell you the truth about Hugo Chavez, whether he was a "Marxist Strongman", or whether his family gets to enjoy his alleged 2 billion estate.
But, just like everything else around here in the US, my antennae go up when I read obviously biased info that we are supposed to swallow without a footnote or a credible source for the info.
I have no dog in the hunt other than to wish the people of Venezuela well as I would every other citizen of the planet who has a right to his/her life.
But seeing pictures of Chavez, shaking hands with Ahmadinejad and with Khadafi, who are all alleged to be villains on the world stage and knowing what all of them have had to endure from the US, I have to pause before I assume that Chavez was a monster.
Think for yourself and wonder if once again you are being propagandized. Question what they would tell you about every world leader who does not conform to US policy designed to rape and pillage resources from every sovereign state on earth. Is it black and white? Was Chavez a tin horn Marxist dictator who should be ground to dust along with his people for daring to give the finger to the US?
Consider how Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq and potentially Iran fare after US brings "democracy" and "freedom" to these countries.
Let's watch and see if post-Chavez Venezuela is able to maintain the impressive stats found in the documents below.
You probably already know what is going to happen next, don't you.....
