Following the success of our first meeting's format, we're again featuring two 40-minute presentations:
- Server-Side Javascript with Smart Platform: Jim Pick, Joyent
- Offline Storage: Techniques and Applications: Alexei White, Nitobi
- Beers afterward
We'll be using the great space at the Network Hub again. Here is a Street View of the entrance. It's just a few feet down Richards from West Hastings, on the third floor. See you there!

Michael BrooksI am relatively new to Vancouver and have been taking advantage of city's tech scene. So far, I have attended an Agile, Java, VanDev, and UX group/camp. Hands down, the Javascript group has been my favorite. The group is passionate - truly passionate - about the Web and where it is going. The presenters are casual, yet informative, and the audience is active in the presentation. I am looking forward to then next event!
