Senior Ruby web developers

From: Alex B.
Sent on: Monday, March 31, 2014 10:54 AM
I'm reaching out to this Ruby meetup on the odd chance there might be some Senior Ruby web developers looking for challenging opportunities in the Vancouver area.

Expected qualifications:

- You are a seasoned web developer with 5+ years of full time, hands-on Ruby and Rails experience

- You are extremely well versed in REST (Resources and Resource Oriented Architecture)

- If someone wakes you up in the middle of the night and asks you "what does HTTP status code 411 mean?", you will answer without hesitation "request did not specify the length of its content" and then go back to sleep right away!

- Conversely, if someone wakes you up in the middle of the night and asks you "server detected an infinite loop while processing the request, what is the HTTP status code?", you will answer without hesitation "508".

If, after reading the above requirements, you think you may be qualified for this position, you may be eligible for a six figure annual salary. If that sounds attractive to you, drop me a line.

Thanks,

Alex Bunardzic

P.S. I am looking for two high octane Ruby devs.
