February Meetup

6-7pm: PyCon Startup Row pitches.

Who: Any startup that uses Python in their technology stack. We are looking for 4 to 5 groups to pitch. Anyone is welcome to attend and watch.

What: Vancouver-based startups who use Python are invited to pitch their company to some judges. You get five minutes to tell us why your idea is awesome. A panel of judges will rate the pitches on business and technical merit and the winning startup gets free tickets to Pycon in Montreal in April and a booth at Startup Row.

Why: It's an opportunity for you to grab the spotlight, practice your startup pitch and win a spot at Pycon.

7pm-onwards: There won't be a formal talk, but rather an informal round table. A quick 5 minute talk from each person about any Python related subjects, questions or topics.

Bonus points for telling us which New Years resolution about Python you have failed to keep.
