Welcome to the Southern Central Coast WordPress Adventure Group (formerly WordPress Ventura County)!

Adventure, you ask?

Of course! When you view something as the adventure that it is, you start to notice that, above all, adventures have a hint of fun in store. And that's the aim here. Tech doesn't have to be dry and obtuse, it can be exhilarating, engaging and satisfying! And FUN!

This Meetup is open to everyone and anyone who has an interest in WordPress. Maybe you're a blogger, graphic designer, coder, marketer...? It doesn't matter! You can forge a wonderful destiny with WordPress! Or perhaps you've already started your WordPress journey and you need some help along the way. When we get together we help each other!

And did you know that anyone in this Meetup can suggest a meeting? We only ask that you keep the meetings in the Southern Central Coast: Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Santa Maria, Buellton, San Luis Obispo. And anywhere in between.

The Meetup must be WordPress specific. You can talk about an infinite range of subjects: SEO, marketing, social media, PHP, anything small biz or enterprise level, blogging... If you can tie it to WordPress, you're good. Be creative! Just remember, your audience came to learn more about WordPress and how to take it too another level.

Some Meetups may be beginner level, some may be more advanced. Some may have an invited speaker, others may be small gatherings at a coffee house to talk shop! As long as we gather and talk about WordPress we are in alignment with this Meetup's philosophy!
