Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the mass email but I have a dog who needs a home who is
almost too good to be true and wanted to share her immediately with
all of you pit bull lovers. The pup's name is Betsy and she was
rescued from the ACC in Manhattan about two and a half weeks ago. She
is currently being boarded at the vet but the bills are mounting
steadily. She needs a foster home or permanent adopter ASAP! Let me
tell you about Betsy...

Betsy is a year and a half old, 50 pound pit bull. She was found tied
to a flag pole in the Bronx and was brought to the shelter in June.
She was rated a no concern which is the best rating a dog can get as
she passed every behavior test with flying colors. This means she is
good with people, with kids, with other dogs, does not have food
aggression or toy aggression. She is basically a perfect dog.
Unfortunately Betsy got kennel cough at the shelter and was in
immediate danger of being euthanized. She was rescued from the shelter
but now is looking for her forever home. Betsy is such a darling girl.
She becomes so overcome with joy at human affection that she
immediately lies down and rolls over for belly rubs. She has the
cutest little freckles on her nose and a beautiful white and tan coat.
She also has huge floppy ears that stand up when she is listening. She
is still very much a puppy and will need to learn basic obedience and
how to walk on a leash but she is extremely smart and already knows
sit so she will be a quick study.

Betsy would make an amazing family pet or a great companion for
someone living alone. If you are interested in adopting her, or if you
can foster her for a short time, even a couple of weeks, please get in
touch with Carolyn at [address removed]. This little girl is too
much of a gem to stay in boarding and has already stolen the hearts of
everyone she meets. She is indeed safe in that she will not be going
back to the shelter but her situation is still urgent. We MUST find an
adopter or foster for her soon. If you can make room in your home and
heart for Betsy I promise you will not be disappointed. She is simply
a joy. Please look at my newest photo album (link below) to see
pictures of this sweet girl.

Thank you all!
