Announcing a new Meetup for Vegan Metro West Network!

Dr Greger's Clinical Nutrition Volume 3 is much too much info to take in one sitting!
We were only able watch disk 1 back in Sept and so we'll watch disk 2 on Oct 25th.
(Don't worry if you didn't make it to the first one they can be seen independantly of each other.)

When I was at the North American Vegetarian Society Summer Festival this last summer, I bought Michael Greger Latest in Clinical Nutrition Volume 3 from the man himself. Its always a delight to talk with him and attend his presentations. This DVD is full of so much great information, some it actually is very shocking. Great information along with some good dry humor this DVD can easily be watched over and over again! I cant wait for you all to see so we can discuss it.

If youre not familiar with Michael Greger, M.D., he is a physician, author, and internationally recognized professional speaker on a number of important public health issues and serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at the Humane Society of the United States.
Dr. Greger is also licensed as a general practitioner specializing in clinical nutrition and was a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Greger was featured on the Healthy Living Channel promoting his latest nutrition DVD and honored to teach part of Dr. T. Colin Campbell's esteemed nutrition course at Cornell University.

His books include Heart Failure: Diary of a Third Year Medical Student and Carbophobia: The Scary Truth Behind America's Low Carb Craze and Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching.
