SAVM is a Group dedicated to creating a Movement... a Movement of people towards a "cruelty-free" lifestyle50 billion animals die EACH YEAR on this planet for "food" because humans are addicted to eating them.  Our Movement will help WAKE UP humankind... and remind them that we are ALL Earthlings on this planet and that killing sentient beings is killing Mother Earth HerselfTogether, we will attend GREENUPS!, potlucks, Vegan Entertainment, meet in nature, and inform the people by flyering, leafletting, publishing articles, speaking with political figures, video displays and whatever else we can come up with!  It's about time!

(This Group is not limited to Vegans.  We welcome Vegetarians and anyone else who is interested in starting a "cruelty-free" lifestyle and helping out with the Movement.)
