New Greeting for“Grasshopper: As a displaced Californian, I thought I would offer you my insight regarding living in Texas. It's like going back in time 50 years. Many (most) Texans hunt; they buy their dogs from breeders (don't adopt from shelters); they think vegetarians (and vegans) are strange; and generally they have a very 1950s perspective on women, pets, and life in general.
