Mothers Day FUNdraising Run

Calling all moms, aunties, doggy-moms, and everyone who loves moms! Join the Mother's Day fun run.

Vegas Veg members will run (or walk) 1 mile, 5k, or 10k to honor ALL mothers by fundraising for Farm Sanctuary (http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/vegasveg/mothersdayrun). We will run for sows in gestation crates, dairy cows who've had their calves stolen, mother hens cramped in battery cages, and all other animal mothers who deserve our compassion. The course is flat and should be easy for newbie runners. The flatness is also great for strollers. Dogs are welcome (keep em leashed).

We will meet before the run to chat and stretch, then again after the run for a vegan potluck. Feel free to join the potluck and/or the fundraising even if you don't plan to run/walk.
