Maximum Tolerated Dose film screening at Zeitgeist on 6/30

Hey everyone. Pardon the long absence. I've been on a West Coast hiatus.

So I'm organizing an event at the end of June. I think many of you might be interested in. Here is the meetup link and the little write-up for it:

Maximum Tolerated Dose is a feature-length documentary about the modern animal experimentation industry. Using investigative footage (including the capture and trade of primates in Asia and the liberation of beagles from a breeding facility in Spain), interviews, and old archival materials, the film chronicles the testimonials and experiences of former scientists, lab technicians, and animals once used for experimentation. Q&A via Skype with director Karol Orzechowski afterwards. A benefit the upcoming Open the Cages East Coast tour (http://openthecagestour.com/), a tour to support and foment the animal liberation struggle using music events, film screenings, workshops, and demonstrations against animal research facilities. 5pm MATINEE SCREENING, so come on time! Watch the trailer here: http://maximumtolerateddose.org/about

Please come out. It's an incredible film. A little intense at times but not gory. Also, if anyone wants to help me with promotion (i.e., I can personally bring you a small stack of flyers and you could tell you're friends) or setting up or whatever, please email me. I'd like to get Christon at Wandering Buddha to do a little pop-up cafe at this.

thanks,
Derek
