Good morning all,
this morning my roommate was feeding a colony of strays that we support behind Lowe's off vets near bonnabel at three in the morning When some complete (pardon my language but this pisses me right off and now my leg is spiking) jackass threw this beautiful calico from the car window and sped off. The kitty must've known that my roommate would be her Savior because she quickly ran to my roommate and tried to jump in the car. Obviously my roommate brought her home and put her in a cage on the carport & this morning when I came outside and realize how hot it was I took the kitty into my room and she is now in my bathroom isolated but she is freaking out. She is terrified & as you can see there are cuts on her nose, however when you go to pet her she's very sweet and lets you love on her but because she been traumatized she's growling and because she's now around all of my cats even though they're not in the bathroom with her they smell strange and she's afraid.
First does anybody know who investigates the areas where the drops of animals are done because this is becoming a serious problem by my roommates office and if she was not there, I shudder to think what would become of all these cast aside, unwanted kitties.
Obviously this little one needs to go to the vet to get checked out and also to see if she's been spayed. If she has not been spayed I intend to make that happen through the voucher program and I'm trying to see if a friend of mine will take her into her home, if that does not happen I will be looking for a home very quickly for this animal. Any advice help assistance would be greatly appreciated most of you know that I newly disabled and I don't get around very well and I don't want to traumatize the kitty more by having my cane go crashing down like it does sometimes when I don't have a good grip on things so any help I could get would be greatly appreciated thank you very much for reading this.
